inspiration : july mood board and calendars

Hi y'all! I'd like to say that my life is returning to some normalcy post-vacation, but it's not. Joey is leaving again this Sunday and he'll be gone for a whole week, leaving me at home with 2 babies. Heaven, help me! I'm a little nervous, not because I can't handle it, because I think I did just fine the 3 days he was gone last week. However, this time, I won't be on vacation so somewhere during the diapers, bottles, sippy cups, feedings, play times, nap times, etc., I've also got to figure out a way to work a full 40 hours. I think it's time to call in reinforcements.... I WANT MY MOMMY!!! ;)

Anywhoodle, it'll work out, it always does. :) And while my life is working itself out, it's also FLYING by! Hey y'all, it's July! Did you know that?!?! Holy firecracker, Batman! And, being July, we've reached that special point in the year where we've crossed over the "hump" of the year and now....  it's all down hill till Christmas! Get excited!

But, it's not quite Christmas time yet (although you couldn't tell that if you went to Hobby Lobby, that place is already chock-full of Christmas stuff) and it's time to give July the credit it's due! I just love July. Not the extreme heat (Lordy, it's like an oven out there) but more of the vibe I get from July. July was always a great month for me. I LOVE celebrating the 4th of July and growing up that meant a big fish fry AND TONS and TONS of fireworks!!! Seriously! We blew up somewhere between $500-$1000 in fireworks every year. I know, because my parents and I always went to Missouri to buy them for us and the rest of our family. It was AWESOME!

I also love seeing the American flags hanging up all over. I can't help it, I'm a patriot at heart, blame my grandparents.

And I love that July also meant time in Texas with my cousin Alicia AND/OR church camp!! YAY!!! Siiiiighh.... oh I miss you... my childhood/teenhood summers.

So here's a little mood board just for you, July, because you're so incredibly awesome!!

And also, I'm trying a little something different this month. I'm going to include some July calendars that you can find around the tri-dubs (that's my groovy nick-name for the internets), and I would REALLY encourage you to check them out. I can't take credit for them, I didn't make any of them, but I found them and wanted to share. And in doing so, I definitely found some new bliggity blogs that I'm following. ;) YAY for new blogs!!
