me : Oh Happy Day!

Today, while BB was at his visit and Joey was in class, I went to Hobby Lobby and got to enjoy the pleasure of walking around and looking at things as much as I want without a fussy little guy grabbing at breakable things and without a big guy being annoyed that we're at Hobby Lobby... again! It was wonderful! While wandering around Hobby Lobby, I realized that I am, indeed, a craft junkie! I just walk around the place thinking, "Oh that would be fun, I could do that!" and "I need some of that, just in case." with a little "I would really like to try that out." mixed in there as well. It's sad. I have a problem. 


And while I was wandering around Hobby Lobby, my phone started buzzing with all sorts of notifications from Etsy. I got a sale, a conversation asking about a custom order, hearts and views were plentiful, and then I got a conversation (that's Etsy-speak for private message) that I was on the front page of Etsy. HOORAY!!

It's pretty exciting to be on the FP of Etsy. For you non-Etsians, I understand if you don't get it. My hubby doesn't get it either. But basically, there are millions of items on Etsy and there are thousands and thousands and thousands of treasuries on Etsy. Every hour, Etsy admin switch out a new treasury on the front page of their site. You have to be lucky enough to have your item picked to be included in a treasury and then be lucky enough to have that treasury picked to be on the front page. It's a long shot. But it does happen and yippee hooray when it does!! :) 


Pretty exciting stuff! Also, while I was in Hobby Lobby I  FINALLY bought myself some new scissors and am hoping that are really good. They are orange-handled Fiskars so they'd better be, right? :) I picked up a few other things like ribbon for my garlands and also polymer clay because I've REALLY been wanting to play around with some clay again. 


And at Wal-Mart I picked up some chocolate frosted Hostess donettes. All in all, I'd say this is one happy day!
