Hi y'all! Some of you (especially if you follow me on twitter or facebook) know that I got a "new" typewriter a couple weeks ago. I've been itching to do one of the many projects I have bouncing around in my head, but I've been busy and haven't been able to get anything done. Until this past weekend. I finally sat down and worked on some new business cards for Live Delightfully, which I desperately need. Before this weekend, I had absolutely NO business cards for Live Delightfully. I'm so glad I have some now!
Here's an easy DIY for anyone who needs some business cards for super cheap (mine only cost $1.99!!!) and really quick (no more waiting 2-3 weeks for your orders):
I'm not going to bore you with extensive details, I think the pictures are pretty self-explanatory.
I went for grey, yellow and pink... kinda sticking with the main color choices of my blog.
I upped my length and width one time. But feel free to play around with all sorts of variations!
It was at this stage that I went, "hmm... I could even make banners like this..."
My head was seriously spinning with different ideas using these techniques.
Finally getting to put "Sally" to use.
After I was finished, I decided to add my name, email address and twitter name on the back. Because you just never know...
And that's it!! Super easy and inexpensive!
I'm looking forward to trying out new stitches, different colors, maybe do a coupon code to slip in envelopes when shipping them for returning customers or special occasions, do larger tags, smaller tags, "thank you" stickers, and more and more and more!!!
What do you think? Do you have any easy and inexpensive handmade business cards ideas?
♥
That's really cool. It beats going to a print shop!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea Regina!! You can't beat that price either! Love the colors you chose. You could totally use this technique for other things too! So simple, and still so cute! I think I need a typewriter now! Haha!
