fashion : casual spring

Hi y'all! Happy Thursday! Spring is here. Which, for us in west Texas means that we've been having 70+ degree weather for over a month with, the occasional cold spell (and snow) sprinkled in every now and then. Just to keep us on our toes.  Here's a fun outfit I together... for those 70+ degree days... not the snowstorm days. ;) Happy Spring everyone!!

Again... as I've mentioned before.. I really want some skinny crops. I love them. Also, I have the loafers from this collection and let me tell you, I love them. Love. Love. Love them. They are super comfortable right out of the box and just get more comfortable every time I wear them. If you're looking for some loafers, I highly recommend these. I got mine from DSW. ;) 

Today is my Friday and I'm pretty excited about having tomorrow off. The hubby and I are going on a day date... something with food and a movie. Because we LOVE going to the movies and haven't been since our anniversary date in December. That's craziness! Not sure what we're going to watch yet. Quite possibly The Hunger Games. But could be something else... you just never know. Also tonight and tomorrow night I will be cooking for our HUGE Easter Egg Hunt and Cookout on Saturday sponsored by our church. I'm making two batches of rice krispie treats and cake pops. I got a new cake pop maker and I'm interested to see how many cake pops I can get from two boxes of cake mix. We shall see... 


This weekend is looking to be quite a wonderful one indeed. YIPPEE!!!

    Have fun on your day date, my fiance is off on Sunday, so we'll be able to partake in a day date too! :)
