inspiration : thursday thoughtfuls

Hi ya'll! Happy Thursday and Happy September! Do you wake up in the morning and start fresh every day? Or do you wake up and start remembering yesterdays worries and all the what ifs and I musts that you pile on yourself? I'm guilty of both. But today is a new day, and even better, it's a new month. Take a deep breath, remind yourself that you are doing the best job of being you today that you can do and let that be enough for today. Things will work out, they always do... one way or another, and just enjoy today. Be thankful for today, for who is in your life and for the things you have. :) And now... on to thursday thoughtfuls! :)

This week, thursday thoughtfuls is really just a medley, a hodge-podge if you will (because I love saying hodge-podge and we really should work that into more sentences everyday) of various quotes. So smile, sit, think and most importantly, be thankful.

I am SOOOO excited that fall is right around the corner! I'll miss wearing my flip flops and sandals everywhere. But I'm definitely looking forward to hoodies and cold nights.

I love this. There is an enormous amount of people that I am thankful for. This is why I've never won an oscar, apparently 9 hour thank-you speeches are frowned upon by the committee. But if you're reading this, then I'm thankful for you, at least in that aspect.

This is me. This is where I sit everyday. And this goes for you too, whether you think that of yourself or not. There's something in you that is awesome and worthy of bombdiggityness. (Yes, that is a word. I just wrote it out didn't I??? I have an English degree, don't argue with me.)

And finally, some words of advice for September. I love this. I'm really trying to tame some of my sarcasm and snarkiness. I'm trying to be more uplifting and encouraging. In the end, it's more important for me to be remembered as kind and sweet than snarky and hilarious. Hopefully, at some point along the way I can merge the two and be remembered as kind and hilarious.
